We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our local logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely freight movement while delivering top-notch customer service for our client.

This is a dynamic role that requires a proactive leader to oversee the entire logistics process, manage a team, and implement process improvements to maintain strict compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the operations team, fostering a culture of high performance and productivity.

Oversee shipping processes, dispatch drivers, and ensure shipments are delivered on time, meeting all customer requirements.

Quickly escalate and resolve shipment issues while ensuring compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train, mentor, and coach team members, while monitoring their performance and supporting their professional development.
Drive continuous process improvements, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of experience managing, mentoring, and coaching teams, with a proven track record of success.
5+ years of experience in logistics or related fields, with a deep understanding of freight operations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency in using Windows, Google, and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
