We are looking for a talented and creative Dessert Chef to join our team at a high-end kosher sushi restaurant in Brooklyn. This part-time role is focused on crafting a unique, non-dairy dessert menu inspired by Japanese flavors and techniques, with a few vegan-friendly options as well. ### Job Responsibilities:
- **Menu Creation:** Design a dessert menu that is kosher and non-dairy, bringing in Japanese flavors and including some vegan options.
- **High Quality & Presentation:** Make desserts that taste amazing and look great to fit our upscale vibe.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work with our kitchen team to develop new seasonal desserts.
- **Kosher Standards:** Ensure all desserts meet kosher standards, are non-dairy, and reflect the quality of our restaurant.
### Requirements:
- **Experience:** At least 2 years as a dessert chef or pastry chef, ideally with some experience in Japanese flavors or similar cuisines.
- **Knowledge of Kosher and Non-Dairy Desserts:** Understanding of kosher cooking practices and ability to create non-dairy and vegan desserts.
- **Creative and Detail-Oriented:** Ability to think outside the box with creative ideas for unique, high-quality desserts.
