The Training Coordinator position is scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. We are seeking a candidate with a flexible schedule who can assist with employee training during evening hours as needed. The hourly range for this position is $21.50-$26.00/hr.
The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing and leading training for assigned departments and functions. The Training Coordinator facilitates classroom and virtual instruction for new hires and tenured employees. The Training Coordinator is responsible for ensuring employees complete assigned job training as well as mandatory compliance training. These features and skills may be subject to change at any time.

- Work with existing employees that require training.
- Assists in the development of course content and associated training materials, ensuring all content is up to date regularly
- Conducts new hire orientation presentations, performs new hire check-ins and collects training evaluation forms.
- Partners with EHS to complete Powered Industrial Truck re-training and re-certification and tracks compliance accordingly.
- Assigns trainees to designated trainers and tracks progress throughout the entire training process.
- Maintains interaction with operations to ensure course content continually meets department and company needs and expectations.
- Maintains training room, materials, handouts, etc.
- Tracks and reports out on training KPI’s to leadership as necessary.
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by management.
- Inspect products for quality purposes to ensure the department is meeting customer needs.
- Understand and follow all company policies, practices and procedures.
- Ensure housekeeping duties are performed on the plant floor.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Create training schedules for all company departments, track and create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain training records for the company.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
Advanced Degree: Preferred
Experience: 3+ years training experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Other Requirements: Strong communication skills a must; must be able to communicate with a wide array of audiences and have the ability to facilitate group training sessions; demonstrated aptitude and experience with record-keeping and compliance; strong attention to detail; self-directed, motivated and organized.
