South side child care center in the Bronezville area is seeking an experience Director that has lead a preschool program and is invested in making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for education with exceptional management, networking and communication skills to supervise and direct the program, a teamwork mindset, a problem solver, energetic, and organized.
Qualifications:
- Meet and exceed all state child care licensing requirements
- Bachelor's/Associate Degree in Early Childhood or 64 credits with 21 ECE
- At least three years of experience in a preschool/child care setting and have at least one year of management and sales experience
- Possess leadership strength, a teamwork mindset, strong communication and networking skills, organization skills and problem-solving ability
- Be professional both in mind and appearance and have a strong work history.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining school compliance with all company and state licensing policies
- Supervision of operations,health, safety and educational aspects of the school
- Manage enrollment-related practices (responding to school inquiries, providing school tours, enrollment of children and creating relationships with families, etc.)
- Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on daycare standards and procedures.
- Data entry of attendance and communication with parents
- Purchase materials and supplies monthly
- Keep inventory of materials and supplies
- Review lesson plans weekly and give feedback as needed
- Regular attendance is an essential requirement of the position in order to offer children and parents consistency.
- Networking and building relationships and brand awareness within the community (hosting school events, attending community events, etc.)
- Manage school staff (hiring, training, discipline, etc.) and other business related tasks as necessary
- Manage and oversee the budget at the center monthly to ensure the center remains profitable.

- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
- Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, hearing, and talking
