Selin Hair Studio is a unique, high-end salon located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. We are looking for a part-time front desk receptionist who will be responsible for answering the phone and emails, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service to guests. Your success is as important to us as it is to you. We greatly value those who show motivation and learn to grow.

Available shifts:

1) Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

2) Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday

3) Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

4) All days available

Hourly wage + $5,000 Guaranteed yearly tip from helping the stylists. Our current receptionists made around $5,600-$6,500 from tips last year.

The average biweekly pay will be around $20+ an hour, with the hourly wage and tips.

Part-time, three days a week (up to 26 hours). This is NOT A SEASONAL JOB!

Salon's operating hours: Mondays to Fridays (10am to 7pm), Saturdays (9am to 6pm), full 8-hour shifts

We are looking for a reliable, punctual, and hardworking person.

Salon experience is not required. We will train you upon hiring and you will be paid during your training hours.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:
- Providing excellent customer service to create an inviting experience for clientele
- Effectively communicating with our team in a fast-paced environment
- Becoming knowledgeable about products and services
- Scheduling appointments by phone calls
- Performing basic salon maintenance and inventory control

Minimum requirements:
- Reliable mode of transportation- Must be flexible to working days, hours, and weekends
- Ability to perform basic computer skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
