Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our dynamic team at The Banneker Hotel. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in culinary arts and hospitality management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of food and beverage service areas, ensuring adherence to quality and service standards.
Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels for food and beverage supplies.
Train, develop, and supervise staff to enhance their skills in food production and customer service.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food service operations.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
Assist in planning and executing catering events, ensuring all details align with client expectations.
Monitor financial performance of food and beverage operations, providing recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in food service management or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of culinary practices, hospitality management, and food production techniques.
Experience with inventory control processes and cost management strategies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
Familiarity with restaurant operations, banquet services, and coffee preparation is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences while maintaining operational efficiency.
