We are looking for a Baker/Pastry Chef to prepare a variety of pastry, baked goods and breakfast items (like Danish, croissants & buns)

Responsibilities:
-Knowledge of mixing and preparing doughs for assorted breads, pastries, pies and other baked goods
-Knowledge of dough lamination techniques
-Experience with pastry bench work producing croissants, danish and other baked goods
-Experience baking and finishing breads, pastries and other assorted baked goods
-Ability to produce quantities based on a production list or par level
-Maintain clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
-Minimum 3 years experience in production and baking typical doughs and bakery pastry products
-Solid understanding of mixing, make-up, and baking of traditional bread, pastry and other baked goods
-Knowledge of traditional bakery fillings
-Ability to plan and organize production and manage time
-Self-motivated with ability to manage volume production without sacrificing quality
-Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
-Must be in good physical health
-Standing for long periods of time (8+ hours)
-Lifting Involved -- (Dough, bakery ingredients up to 50lbs.)

Other information:
-A pastry arts/culinary degree are not necessary but helpful
-Working hours are approximately 8am-4pm five days per week (additional days/hours required around holidays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
