We are seeking a skilled Set up Machinist, programming is a plus, to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with lean manufacturing principles, blueprint reading, programming, and using precision measuring instruments.

Duties:
- Set up and operate machine tools such YCM AND HAAS MACHINES 3 TO 5 AXIS
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Program machines using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy
- Monitor machine operations to detect any issues or malfunctions
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Machinist or in a similar role 5 YEARS minimum
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings

- Experience with programming machines using CAM software
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
