Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated hands on Assistant Nursery Manager to oversee all aspects of our plant nursery operations and work with our Intellectually Diverse Clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, plant cultivation, and farm management.

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day nursery operations including planting, watering, and harvesting plants

- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds, work in outdoor climate, and continuously cover and monitor six (6) acre nursery property
- Supervise and train nursery staff on proper growing techniques and maintenance procedures
- Monitor plant health and implement pest control measures as needed
- Oversee greenhouse operations and ensure proper climate control
- Maintain inventory of plants, seeds, and supplies
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems
- Utilize basic math skills for inventory tracking and data collection
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Use hand tools effectively for various gardening tasks

Experience:
- Prior experience in nursery management or related field preferred
- Knowledge of greenhouse operations and plant care techniques
- Ability to irrigate plants effectively based on their specific needs
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory management
- Strong ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as necessary
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with data collection methods in a nursery setting

Pay: $20.42 - $22.00 per hour
