Job Overview:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality education and support to students with special needs, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Assess students' skills and learning requirements.
Adapt general lessons to meet the needs of students.
Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
Employ a variety of teaching techniques and methods to meet students' needs and capabilities.
Monitor students’ progress and use data to adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student.
Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
Strong understanding of the principles, practices, and procedures of special education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to work with students with special needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Experience working with students with diverse needs in a classroom setting.
Familiarity with IEP development and implementation.
Knowledge of assistive technologies and adaptive tools for special education.
