Bilingual Spanish or Japanese Production Supervisor - 2nd and 3rd Shift
An international food company is seeking a qualified bilingual Spanish or Japanese Factory Production Supervisor with at least 3+ years of supervisory/management experience. This company has been around for more than 80 years and you can find their products in most grocery stores.

Title: Production Supervisor
Business Hour: Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays as needed)
- Afternoon: 3:00pm-11:30pm + OT
- Night: 11:00pm-7:30am + OT

Summary:
Manufacturing supervisors are responsible for the day-to-day running of production processes in all types of manufacturing operations. They make sure that the production line is running smoothly, and that staff are meeting their production targets.
Job Description
- Manage and develop production employees to achieve established goals of safety, environmental performance, production volume, quality, service, and cost.
- Ensure production employees are properly oriented and trained
- Review, analyze and make recommendations regarding safety, environmental performance, quality, expenses, and productivity,
- Planning and organizing staff shift schedules and tasks
- Reporting plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians
- Monitoring quality control
- Conduct monthly Internal self-audits
- Conducting monthly training seminars (GMPs, SSOPs, SOPs.)
- Production record keeping (conventional and Organic)
- Supporting Federal and State audits
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory position at a factory
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate all levels of personnel
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety
- Spanish or Japanese bilingual
- English Level Proficient (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
