We are seeking a Lead UX Designer to join a small product design team working to bring a new mobile-native product to market. One of our critical and highly visible initiatives is building and scaling industry-leading lending digital applications and experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, reliable, detailed, and driven to produce high quality work. Partner closely with team leads and internal stakeholders to create empathetic, simple, and human-centric design solutions that define our product experience.
Work collaboratively with other designers on your team to create conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and final designs for consumer-facing websites and mobile apps considering user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Own product features through launch, ensuring we're shipping meaningful and quality experience
Help to develop, use, and maintain a design system that delivers a consistent and on-brand experience throughout all of our digital experiences, both website and mobile apps.
Ask smart questions, take risks, and champion new ideas to push the user experience of our product
Participate in design workshops to explore innovative solutions for problems and opportunities identified through research and data.
5-7 years of experience in either agency or product related environments designing consumer facing digital experiences
Expertise building successful and engaging mobile applications; experience building consumer facing membership-based mobile apps is a plus
Extensive experience designing and launching mobile applications for the most current iOS and Android versions
Experience designing mobile-first and responsive web pages
Hands on experience with Angular or similar web application frameworks
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative testing
Proficiency with design and prototyping software such as Sketch, Figma and Invision
Knowledge of UX best practices and trends
Understanding of how data and qualitative research inform product and design decisions
