Our client is a prestigious and well-established personal injury law firm based in Houston, known for its commitment to advocating for clients and securing favorable outcomes. The firm is seeking a dynamic and dedicated bilingual trial lawyer to join our team and take charge of a diverse personal injury docket. The Attorney will manage all aspects of personal injury cases from inception through trial. This role involves handling a broad range of case types including commercial motor vehicle accidents, nonsubscriber/third-party work injuries, premises liability, product liability, and more. The Attorney will be expected to leverage your trial skills and legal expertise to drive cases to successful resolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse personal injury case load from initial consultation through trial.
- Conduct comprehensive case evaluations, including legal research and evidence gathering.
- Develop and implement case strategies, including pre-trial motions and settlement negotiations.
- Represent clients in court, including presenting evidence, examining witnesses, and delivering arguments.
- Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to prepare cases for trial.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and legal precedents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and guidance throughout the litigation process.
- Ensure all case documentation is complete and accurate.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of plaintiff personal injury litigation and case management experience.
- Proven track record of handling personal injury cases through all stages of litigation, including trial.
- Bilingual in Spanish/English is required.
- Texas Bar License in good standing is mandatory.
- Strong courtroom presence with exceptional oral and written advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex cases.
