Journeyman Electrician
Our client, a leader in electrical systems and automation, is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join their growing team. Our client is a commercial and industrial electrical contractor that has been delivering high-quality services for over 20 years. They specialize in providing electrical installations and upgrades for industries such as healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and distribution. Their expertise spans tenant buildouts, lighting upgrades, and comprehensive electrical services for various sectors.
Day to Day Duties
- Install and bend rigid conduit, pull wire and cable
- Analyze blueprints and schematics for efficient system installation
- Perform structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6) and fiber optic installation
- Troubleshoot and install PLCs and HMIs
- Set up firewalls, routers, switches, and WAPs
- Safely work at heights using ladders, scaffolds, and platforms
Qualifications
- Proven electrical field experience, especially in mission-critical environments (e.g., data centers)
- Strong knowledge of electrical tools and techniques
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
