Desired Qualifications:• Electrical Engineer• 3+ years of relevant utility SCADA engineering experienceThe scope of work of this individual supporting as staff augmentation could include but is not limited to• Ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of power distribution systems• Maintaining and enhancing the performance of substations• Supporting capital project work• Creating and reviewing engineering drawings and documentation• Monitoring equipment, and optimizing grid operations• Collaborating cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA components into existing and new infrastructure• Ensuring communication between field devices, RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and the central SCADA control center• Monitoring real-time data from substations• Analyzing and troubleshooting alarms• Performing regular maintenance and patches• Ensuring compliance with industry standards (NERC CIP, IEEE, etc.) related to SCADA systems.
