We are looking for a Footwear Developer and Sourcing Manager who is analytical, organized and has deep knowledge and understanding of the footwear manufacturing supply chain and process. This position will be a key member of the product creation team who collaborates with the design and merchandising teams and has a deep product knowledge of footwear engineering. This position will also play a major role in sourcing strategic capabilities to deliver in line with the brands quality and price value equation. An excellent candidate for this role is passionate about quality and product and is a great partner and collaborator.
Your Impact:
The primary functions of this role, includes but are not limited to:
- Collaborate, ideate and refine products’ construction, fit and materials
- Sourcing strategic factory and supply chain partners in line with the brand strategy.
- Strive for continuous improvement in all areas of production including, but not limited to: Go to market calendar, tracking production progress, and quality assurance.
- Track and approve all pre-production samples while meeting production deadlines
- Assist with assessment and analyzing vendor capacities along with projections and secure allocation strategies with team

We’d love to hear from people with:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
- 5-8 years of sourcing and product development experience in the athletic footwear industry, preferably with an outdoor brand
- Product costing experience
- Experience building and managing seasonal calendars
- Experience traveling to and working with overseas factory development centers and partners
- Experience with big box retailers such as Walmart, Costco And Sam's Club.
