Who You'll Work With
You will join our Strategy & Corporate Finance practice in our New York office to work in teams and directly with our clients to help solve some of their most difficult problems. You will also work with a range of experts in the firm, from data scientists and researchers to software and app designers.
Our Strategy & Corporate Finance practice works on engagements across industries, advising clients on top-management level issues including corporate strategy and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and alliances, business due diligence, value-based management, and strategy in IPO situations. We provide expert advice on financial and strategic issues, helping clients make informed decisions in high-stakes situations. Our broader practice advising CEOs and CFOs shape their strategy agendas. We are dedicated to helping businesses navigate the complex market landscape and achieve their goals.
What You'll Do
You will work in teams of typically 3–5 consultants, playing an active role in all aspects of client engagement.
This includes gathering and analyzing information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and developing and communicating recommendations. You will also have the opportunity to present results to leadership. As a Business Analyst within the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice, you will be responsible for conducting extensive due diligence work, which may include collecting historical deal-related information, developing and executing a comprehensive work plan, reviewing contracts and policies, analyzing data, identifying risks, conducting competitor analysis, financial analysis, and valuation, and gathering a comprehensive set of data.
During your first few years with the firm, you will consult on multiple client engagements and work with a number of colleagues and clients across a range of industry areas.

Qualifications
- Undergraduate or master’s degree and 1+ years of work experience after completing your undergraduate degree
- 1+ years of strategy, corporate finance, M&A or due diligence experience in a consulting firm, investment bank, accounting firm or major corporation; experience in a corporate development or strategic finance is preferred
- Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment
- Intellectual curiosity, creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
- Adaptability and openness to collaborate in a flexible environment
- Sensitivity on social responsibility and ambition to have a real impact on clients and on our communities
- Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Strong record of leadership in an academic, professional or extracurricular setting
- Thoughtful, empathic and comfortable communicator
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
