We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Logistics/EWM Consultant to join our client's team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage SAP IT solutions within the Demand to Supply (D2S) area, with a particular focus on Warehouse Management (WM) and its integration with Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), and Logistics functions. You will work with both global and regional organizations, Shared Services, and production sites to deliver innovative solutions aligned with industry best practices, helping to drive efficiency and sustainability across our manufacturing and logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on requirements gathering, design, implementation, and management of SAP Logistics/EWM solutions, including integration aspects with PP-PI and QM solutions.
- Transition implemented solutions into operational systems to ensure seamless functionality.
- Stay informed on market trends and advancements to keep solutions aligned with industry developments.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the company’s SAP landscape.
- Manage smaller projects or subprojects within the EWM/MM/WM and integrated functional areas, working with business stakeholders in Demand to Supply (D2S) and Ready to Supply (RtS) work streams.
- Provide solution consulting and collaborate with business partners, I&O, and SCM key users in requirements gathering and project execution.
- Resolve escalated issues on a technical level, providing support at both regional and global levels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration/Management, or a related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 full lifecycle implementations in SAP Logistics/WM, ideally within an S4 HANA environment.
- Preferred experience in SAP ABAP and/or Java/Web Application development.
- In-depth understanding of S/4 HANA simple logistics, EWM functionality, and RF integration.
- Strong expertise in SAP EWM, including Inbound/Outbound Processing, Physical Inventory, RF Transactions, HU Management, and Production Integration.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, evaluate, and resolve complex incidents and maintain functional competency in EWM best practices.
- Ability to convey complex technical and business issues to all organizational levels, including stakeholders and process owners.
- Solid understanding of IT architecture and ERP development.
- Candidates must be willing to work in a hybrid capacity (2-3 days in office) at our Pittsburgh campus, with Pittsburgh residency required.
