Title: Stamping & Welding Robotic Engineering Manager
Location: Springfield, OH
Salary: Up to $90,000
Job Summary
The Assembly Engineering Manager will manage the Assembly Engineering Department and Communicate Daily with the Program Management, Production, Stamping, Quality, and Press Engineering Departments within the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule Projects and Manpower distribution
- Create Budgets, Cost Analysis, and Maintain Control of Budgetary items.
- Create and Follow System Plans to ensure that process and equipment meets.
- Adhere and Promote within the team to meet the targets of Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Communicate with other Departments to ensure successful product launch.
- Programing Faunc and Yaskawa robots required.
- Work Weekends (occasionally) as needed.
- Overnight Travel (possible); including International
- Report and Work Closely with the Engineering Senior Manager.
Requirements for the Position
Experience Managing Technical Manning (manpower) in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment
Degree in Engineering or Related field is preferred; but not necessary or 3+ years’ experience in lieu of a degree acceptable.
Previous Experience in Resistance and MIG weld with both Robots and Stationary welders.
Knowledge and Experience with Robotic Applications and Process Flows.
Comfortable with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks or other drafting software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Prefer B.S. degree in Engineering related discipline
Prefer prior management experience
1 - 2 years’ experience in a metal manufacturing environment (preferably die and tooling in metal stamping)
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts using basic arithmetic.
Computer Skills
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Other Skills and Abilities
Mechanical knowledge (preferred)
Process Improvement (preferred)
Special requirements
Overtime and travel will be required as the above duties necessitate or for the support of other facilities and activity.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and may require additional PPE per policy.
