Women's Care was founded in 1998 by a small group of obstetrics and gynecology physicians in Tampa. Today, our organization has grown to over 100 locations in numerous states by remaining true to its mission of improving the health and lives of our patients every day.
The Patient Access Representative is primarily responsible for collecting information for registration of new and incoming patients.

Greet all patients and visitors; guide them to appropriate areas as needed.

Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update patient profile.

Collect payment and/or assist patient with minor billing concerns.

Scan pertinent information into EMR system (HIPPA compliance, authorizations, medical records, etc.).

Respond to non-medical patient emails and phone calls.

Demonstrate and embody the Womens Care mission and core values.

Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting, OBGYN a plus.

General knowledge of medical terminology.

Preferred experience working with an electronic medical records system, eCW a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.

Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and high-stress atmosphere.

Ability to communicate and work efficiently with patients, co-workers, and providers.

Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
