Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Project Manager to lead the daily operations of Studio Extra and manage key projects as we expand. This role is critical to ensuring our beauty studio operations and projects run smoothly, clients receive exceptional experiences, and new initiatives—such as fundraisers—are executed efficiently. You will be responsible for everything from staff systems management and process optimization to overseeing projects. Key Responsibilities:
• Studio Operations: Recommend changes to the operations of Studio Extra, ensuring smooth scheduling, client service, inventory management, and overall efficiency.
• Staff Leadership: Oversee the hiring and training for new studio staff. Foster a positive work culture and ensure staff are well-equipped to deliver high-quality services.
• Project Management: Lead special projects to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and contractors to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
• Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, focusing on customer experience, staff productivity, and resource management.
• Client Experience: Implement systems to ensure our clients receive seamless, top-tier service from booking to their in-salon experience.
• Budget Management: Collaborate with the finance team to manage operational budgets, reduce inefficiencies, and ensure profitability.
• Vendor & Inventory Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and supplies are ordered on time.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the studio complies with local regulations, including health and safety standards, labor laws, and industry best practices. Remind renewals of licensing.
• Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to staff performance, client satisfaction, project timelines, and operational costs. Use data to make informed decisions and recommend improvements.
• Technology & Tools: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of studio software (scheduling, CRM, payment systems) to improve operations and client experience.
• Expansion Strategy: Work closely with the founder to plan and execute growth strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in operations or project management, ideally in the beauty, retail, or hospitality industries.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing staff, optimizing processes, and overseeing customer-facing environments.
• Any project management experience
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and resources.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire a team and maintain a positive work environment.
• Proficiency in using scheduling, project management, and CRM tools (e.g., Click up, Google Calendar, etc.).
• Passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Compensation:
$17.85/hour (20 hours per week) for 7 weeks. This role is milestone//project based. With the opportunity to prolong or continue.
