Award-Winning Client Seeks Talented Maintenance Reliability Manager
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry with a stellar reputation, is actively seeking a Maintenance Reliability Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a renowned organization with a global presence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
In this key role, you will:
- Provide effective leadership for the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks for maintaining production equipment, ensuring timely completion.
- Manage maintenance technicians' schedules and maintain a database for equipment calibrations.
- Lead and support initiatives for Lean Manufacturing.
- Diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
- Collaborate with the operation team to assess equipment and process deficiencies, modifying them to achieve objectives.
- Direct and manage the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment.
- Develop relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Analyze data and prepare reports, making recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Ensure maintenance associates are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated.
- Manage a computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
- Track, analyze, and improve key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Proven technical supervisory experience demonstrating effective management skills.
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
- Five years of electrical experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Five years of mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment.
- Digital controls troubleshooting experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to read specs and prints.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
