**Role Overview:**
The Global Head of Communications will lead the development and execution of strategic communication plans to enhance the company’s brand and reputation globally. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership to align communication strategies with business objectives and navigate the complexities of communicating in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Strategic Communication Planning:** Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that align with the company's business goals, enhance its brand visibility, and engage both internal and external stakeholders.
- **Media Relations:** Serve as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries, build relationships with key journalists and influencers, and manage the company's public image proactively. Oversee media strategies for key programs.
- **Crisis Management:** Develop and implement crisis communication plans to protect the company’s reputation and manage potential public relations issues effectively.
- **Internal Communications:** Oversee internal communication channels to ensure clear, consistent, and motivational messaging to employees.
- **Content Development:** Lead the creation of high-quality content across various platforms, including press releases, social media, the company website, and internal communications.
- **Leadership and Team Management:** Lead a team of communication professionals, set departmental goals, and provide mentorship to foster professional growth and high performance.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work with various departments like marketing and investor relations to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
**Qualifications:**
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- **Experience:** Extensive experience in corporate communications, preferably within the tech industry or a publicly traded company. Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team and corporate communication strategies.
