Overview:
Mi Casita Preschool, a growing Spanish immersion preschool business with five locations in Philadelphia and one in Texas, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Admissions Director. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating a smooth and personalized admissions experience for parents, with a strong sales mentality. As an immersion school, fluency in both English and Spanish is highly desired for this role.
Your primary responsibility will be to convert new leads—both inbound and outbound—into successful enrollments by engaging with prospective families, understanding their needs, and helping them discover the magic of our Spanish immersion programs. You will also help co-create and manage a refreshed admissions process from initial interaction to enrollment, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all families.
This role requires fast, proactive communication and the ability to respond quickly to prospective parents. The Admissions Director must be highly responsive to inquiries and leads, ensuring prompt follow-up at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience for parents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, identifying their needs and addressing any concerns or barriers to enrollment.
- Convert leads into enrollments by effectively communicating the value of our Spanish immersion preschool programs and services.
- Conduct outbound outreach to families we have interacted with, those referred to us, or those we’ve met at events, in addition to responding to inbound inquiries.
- Respond quickly to inquiries and leads through email, phone, and virtual meetings—speed and responsiveness are key.
- Regularly interact with prospective parents through in-person tours, virtual meetings, and phone calls, providing timely responses to all inquiries.
- Represent Mi Casita at community events, which may occasionally take place on weekends, to build brand awareness and generate new leads.
- Utilize a CRM system to track and manage leads, follow up with prospects, and report on admissions metrics.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to align on lead generation strategies and enrollment goals.
- Identify and analyze trends in the admissions process to continuously improve conversion rates.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and responsiveness, addressing parent inquiries quickly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong sales mentality with a hunger to convert leads into enrollments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with families.
- Experience managing a CRM system, with the ability to track leads and follow up effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Comfortable with both virtual and in-person interactions, including attending events and conducting tours.
- Sales or admissions experience is required. Background in daycare or education is not required but would be helpful.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desired.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends to attend community events.
- Must have a fast response time and be highly proactive in following up with leads.
- Must have a vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
