Position Description:
- Identifying opportunities with Regional and Emerging Chains looking for new business areas, sales markets, and products, including new customers and strategic partners.
- Align growth opportunities with internal business strategies and objectives: profitability, production capabilities, and capacity utilization.
- Create business plans and strategies, including joint customer strategic business plans.
- Identify and research potential clients.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure customer initiatives are executed and launched on time.
- Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.
- Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales growth pipeline.
- Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
- Prepare and submit sales contracts.
- Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth.
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline required. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years within the Foodservice Industry building strong partnerships with Large Chain Operators.
- Experience partnering with Foodservice Operators collaborating on portfolio growth utilizing cross-functional leadership within Culinary, R&D, and Marketing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Understanding of P&L management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical skills, and conceptual thinking abilities.
- Strong listening and communication skills, the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast and agile environment.
- Ability to lead through influence and indirect authority with cross-functional groups.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
