Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SVP Sales (Motive Power) to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our sales team and drive our motive power markets. You will be responsible for new account development, product launches, and expansion. If you have a proven track record in sales leadership, extensive experience in material handling, and aviation ground handling equipment markets, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the sales team and oversee all sales activities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the motive power markets.
- Lead new account development and foster long-term relationships with key clients.
- Plan, manage and execute product launches to maximize sales and market penetration.
- Identify and penetrate new international markets to drive global sales growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of company strategies and goals.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, updates, and requested reports to executive management.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Lead by example to inspire the sales team and enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree. An MBA would be a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership
- Proven track record in the motive power markets.
- Extensive experience in material handling and aviation ground handling equipment markets.
- Demonstrated success in leading new account development and product launches.
- Strong international business experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and partners and to attend industry events.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Demonstrable ability to develop strategies and business plans to grow overall sales and market share.
