Job Description:

You will be responsible for the independent operation of radiation-producing equipment and the performance of routine radiographic procedures, including mobile radiography and fluoroscopy. Key Responsibilities:

Operate radiation-producing equipment independently and efficiently.

Perform routine radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images are obtained.

Conduct mobile radiography and fluoroscopy as required.

Assist Radiologists during diagnostic examinations.

Maintain radiographic rooms, ensuring they are well stocked with necessary supplies.

Complete all required paperwork, including history sheets and computerized e-forms, to ensure well-documented patient care.

Perform routine clerical duties such as filing and copying exams and reports.

Understand and execute all phases of film printing, storage, and retrieval using the PACS system.

Provide timely and professional services for inpatients and outpatients of all age groups.
Qualifications:

Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Experience in a hospital setting, particularly with CT, is preferred.

Ability to follow directions and perform work according to department standards.

Demonstrated maturity and ability to work effectively in stressful situations.

Strong capacity to work independently and professionally while delivering thorough care.
Licenses/Certificates:

ARRT certification in radiology or registry eligible.

Registry-eligible candidates must pass the ARRT registry within one year to maintain employment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
