Business Development/Capture Director – Federal Civilian

SNAP is a trusted partner to many Government agencies and provides a variety of IT services including Application development, System Integration, Cyber Security, Operations and Maintenance, and mission-critical training support services.
We seek a Business Development Manager with a background in the Federal market to assist SNAP with penetrating and expanding its market. The applicant is expected to develop new business, manage a qualified pipeline, represent SNAP capabilities, lead capture of opportunities, and support proposal development. A comprehensive understanding of current trends and emerging technologies in the Federal Civilian professional services and IT market is required.
Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Conduct opportunity analysis to increase company win probability.
- Prepare and present capture strategies to corporate leadership.
- Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Sources Sought (SS).
- Coordinate with technical teams to identify key discriminators and develop win themes.
- Assist in proposal development and preparation.
- Support brand development and market outreach activities.
- Demonstrate understanding of current trends and emerging technologies.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.
- Have a current, active network of industry and Federal contacts.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree and Secret Security clearance verifiable in JPAS.
Performance Requirements & Near-Term Deliverables
This position requires a sales quota of $2 to $5 million dollars in new business, measured on an annual contract value basis.
First 90 Days: Pipeline of opportunities identified and qualified.
First 120 Days: Advancement of opportunities to pursuit and/or proposal stage.
