Overview
The Chief Quality Officer (CQO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organization maintains the highest standards of quality across all operations. This executive position is responsible for developing and implementing quality strategies that align with the company’s goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The CQO will lead quality assurance initiatives, drive process improvements, and collaborate with senior leadership to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives.
- Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate quality initiatives into business development and strategic planning processes.
- Oversee the establishment of quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Negotiate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the supply chain.
- Manage cross-functional projects aimed at improving product and service quality.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics and report findings to senior management.
Experience
- Current licensure in Georgia as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of five (5) years hospital experience OR a graduate degree in Health Care Administration
- CPHQ (Certified professional in Healthcare Quality) preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in a senior quality management role within a relevant industry.
- Strong background in operations management, project management, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Experience in business development with a focus on integrating quality into organizational processes.
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- A track record of successfully managing teams and driving cultural change towards continuous improvement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $72,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
