BizFlex IT is growing and looking for a talented self-motivated Technical Engineer team member that has the ability to solve complex issues and has the desire to deliver great customer service to our managed service customers. You will be part of the escalation team responsible for the support of technology requests across our clients as well as being a leader for our support team.
We are a managed service provider, your role on our team is crucial to maintaining support to our clients. We believe in the white glove service approach and our customers stick with us because of it. That said, providing the best support possible is necessary.
We are looking for a dedicated member that wants to be a leader of a service desk team and still be willing to work as a team and grow as a team. We don’t support just one set of customers with the same products, we support 100s of clients with 100s of applications.
Objective of the role of Technical Engineer:
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical solutions to meet managed customer needs, including designing, developing, and maintaining software and hardware
- Analyzing and resolving complex technical issues
- Making recommendations to management on new and advanced technologies
- Overseeing the quality of a company's products and services
- Engage with senior management regularly
- Improve customer service, perception and satisfaction
- Train and coach others on the Support Team
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Support our client network environments
- Meet ticket and project deadlines
- Understanding of support tools, techniques and how technology is used to provide IT services.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of experience in a technical role
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a technical focus
- Experience in project management
- Proficient with Microsoft Server and desktop operating systems
- Proficient in current computer technologies, networking, switching, routing
- Experience with Cisco Meraki
- Ability to support/manage AWS and Azure Cloud Platforms.
- Ability to support/manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace platforms
