Industrial Engineers are responsible for analyzing and designing operations and workflow to optimize efficiencies throughout the plant. Responsible for designing, developing, and testing integrated systems for managing industrial production processes. The ideal candidate will have a natural drive to improve processes and lead dynamic projects that improve the way our products are delivered.
Required Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Industrial Engineering
- Aerospace Manufacturing Experience Strongly Preferred
This role is identified as requiring ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance; therefore, qualified candidates must meet the definition of a U.S. Person (per EAR Part 772 and ITAR 120.15):

- Design and develop robust manufacturing concepts to simplify and improve processes and ensure best practices
- Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.
- Ensures that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.
- Reduces waste and addresses production issues.
- Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.
- Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
- Evaluate and apply suitable industrial engineering techniques to help solve problems of a wide-ranging nature.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain insights and direction
- Optimize for layout and flow
- Follows verbal and written instructions; reads and accurately interprets technical specs and instructions
- Complies with established processes and procedures, and complies with AS9100 and other regulations applicable to the role
- Regular (daily) attendance on-site at the work location is required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Other Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, work instructions, and technical specifications and other written materials including customer contracts, purchase orders, and terms and conditions
- Professional oral and written communication skills (English)
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Teams/SharePoint is preferred
- Experience using an ERP system; Infor Visual experience preferred
- Experience using drafting software; Catia V5 and/or Vericut experience is preferred
- Familiarity with aerospace materials and specifications and machining practices is preferred
- Understanding of processing/metal finishing requirements and specifications is preferred
- Familiarity with AS9100 requirements is preferred

- Sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a combination of locations including offices and the manufacturing shop environment where working conditions vary significantly; the employee will be exposed to:
- Excessive noise (occasionally)
- Dust, smoke, fumes/vapors (occasionally)
- Extreme temperatures (occasionally)
- Hazardous equipment including forklifts, hand tools, cranes or other lifting devices, complex machining centers and other equipment used in a machine shop environment (occasionally)
