What You’ll Do:
GENERAL
- Lead Visual Merchandising across North America Retail, Outlet, and Wholesale divisions.
- Implement brand strategies in collaboration with the US Retail, Store Development and Merchandising teams.
- Oversee and Support Visual Merchandising and VM Project Management for Wholesale Division and Brand/Marketing Activations.
- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing the North America Visual Merchandising directives in line with brand image and Global VM standards.
- Communicate, implement, and monitor VM installations to retail stores, NY Headquarters and Global Head office including presentation reports and window/instore visual calendars.
- Liaise with Global Visual Merchandising team and US Communications team to optimize branding activities.
- Develop and maintain the US Visual Merchandising budget.
IN STORE VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Create, develop, and submit US specific monthly VM Planograms and Directives by store tiers/buys in line with overall Global VM Strategy.
- Compile and review weekly photos to ensure stores are consistent with the visual standards and provide feedback.
- Adapt Global Visual direction based on Regional and Store need and inventory.
- Manage implementation of seasonal windows and instore visuals.
- Coordinate and ensure proper follow through for all window installations; liaising with local contractors within directive, timeline and budget.
- Select most appropriate seasonal visuals for each store based upon store buys.
- Create and maintain guidelines for VM Standards.
- Provide visual standards and guideline presentation training to each store.
MERCHANDISING PLANNING
- Work closely with the Retail Merchandising team to ensure that VM supports the commercial goals of the business and that brand standards are upheld.
- Partner with Retail team to seek creative solutions to merchandising issues that arise while maintaining brand image.
- Partner with Retail Merchandising to map out seasonal suggested flow by product categories and skus.
- Identify local VM opportunities to support specific regional needs via compelling displays.
EVENTS, SPECIAL PROJECTS & SHOWROOM
- Responsible for developing, creating and executing the visual concepts for special projects and brand events.
- Provide VM support, direction and monitoring of all retail and wholesale shopping/consumer events (in store/off site)
- Set up visual presentation of the seasonal Press Events display (showroom or off site).
- Set up visual presentation of the seasonal Wholesale Commercial showroom.
PROPS
- Define and coordinate Prop packages by store in line with the Global VM directives within timeline and budget.
- Responsible for ordering all visual props for new store openings.
You’ll Need to Have:
- Bachelors’ degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Design, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising in a fashion retail environment.
- Strong ability to adapt & work well in a fast-paced environment and fluctuating deadlines; prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent taste level in speaking to many facets including merchandising, styling, fixture design, store layout and directives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interface with domestic and international teams; occasional travel within the US and abroad
