The Supply Chain Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our supply chain operations. This individual will be responsible for planning and coordinating the supply chain processes to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
What will you do day-to-day?
- Demand Planning: Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to develop accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to adjust forecasts based on new product launches or market changes.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs. Implement inventory control measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Address any supply chain disruptions and resolve issues that may impact production schedules or customer orders.
- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to align with demand forecasts and inventory levels. Coordinate with production teams to ensure on-time and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance, including inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and supply chain costs. Analyze data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for optimization.
Who are you?
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a related role, with a proven track record of managing inventory, demand planning, and production scheduling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
