Overnight Shift - 11pm-7am
Essential Functions:
- Check guests in and out according to Marriott standard
- Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of all property receipts
- Maintains guest service standards at the front desk at all times
- Follows cash handling procedures as outlined by the accounting department
- Performs all end of day front desk and night audit functions, including reviewing cashier audits for accuracy, balancing credit card postings to computer system, maintaining computer database integrity daily, and auditing of master bills
- Prepares all computer systems for the following day. Ensures accurate and timely backup files / tapes are maintained on a daily basis
- Prepares, balances, posts, and distributes all necessary reports on a daily basis
- Post charges to guest folios
- Enroll guests into our guest loyalty program
- Receive and pick up guest in-coming and external calls
- Transfer calls
- Attend pre-shift meetings
- Explain services and features of hotels
- Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to manager / supervisor so that corrective measures may be taken
- Knowledge of hotel and the city
- Ability to timely compile facts/figures, identify and investigate issues and resolve basic matters
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities :
- Knowledge of discipline policies, procedures and services and general knowledge in other departments in the hotel
- Exceptional computer skills
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
- Ability to comply with all company rules and policies
