Your Role: As a Bilingual PEA, you’ll be responsible for a center-based caseload where you’ll play a critical role in connecting families to our Early Head Start (EHS) program, supporting their journey from recruitment to goal achievement. Providing support in both Spanish and English, you’ll work directly with families at our EHS Centers or Partner Sites, guiding them through Family Partnership Agreements and fostering their engagement in their children’s education and health. Your work will ensure that families have the tools and resources they need to thrive.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the recruitment and enrollment of pregnant women and families with young children into the EHS program.
- Support families in setting and achieving personal goals through family-centered case management.
- Collaborate with Coordinators, Site Supervisors, and Teaching staff to monitor child attendance, encourage parent involvement, and ensure completion of health and education requirements.
- Prepare and distribute parent newsletters, reports, and updates on a regular basis.
- Conduct family needs assessments and provide ongoing case management to center-based families.
- Encourage parent participation in program governance, planning activities, and special events.
- Assist in the implementation of the EHS Male Involvement program and other initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and reports using the Child Plus system.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fluency in spoken and written Spanish and the ability to carry out the performance responsibilities in both English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree; equivalent education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to partner sites as needed.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in case management, goal setting, and building professional relationships with families.
- Knowledge of the community served and interest in maternal and child health.

Pay: $42,007.00 - $46,429.00 per year
