Job Overview
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Head of People to lead our HR function and drive our people strategy. The Head of People will be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and company culture. This role requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in HR management, a deep understanding of people strategies, and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing direction, mentorship, and support to drive high performance and professional growth.
- Oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and address organizational and talent needs, and drive initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities and performance.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure HR effectiveness, identify trends, and make informed decisions to improve people practices.
- Manage HR budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective and efficient delivery of HR services.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies, and update policies as needed.
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and ensure they are integrated into all HR processes and practices.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on people-related matters, including organizational change, leadership development, and talent management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful people strategies.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and organizational development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proven ability to drive organizational change and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Experience managing HR teams and budgets effectively.
