Position: Director of Care Placement
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, In-Office
Base Salary: $95,000 to $125,000 annually
Bonus Potential: 20% annual bonus potential of base salary
Job Summary:
True Legacy Homes is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Care Placement to lead a team of Care Placement Specialists. This role will shape and implement the strategy, execution, and optimization of care placement efforts, contributing to the growth and success of the True Legacy Homes Care Placement division. The position offers an annual bonus potential of up to 20% of the base salary, contingent on individual and company performance objectives.

This individual excels at developing processes to enhance efficiency and streamline operations. They are highly analytical, skilled in identifying KPIs, and proficient in creating reports to hold the team accountable and drive performance. They cultivate a collaborative and competitive atmosphere to maximize team potential and are driven to meet and surpass targets. With strong leadership abilities, they can hire and develop talented sales leaders. The role demands high levels of enthusiasm and energy, along with a passion for making a positive impact on families and customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and optimize the care placement business processes.
- Ensure processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals to identify suitable care options.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local care facilities to become a preferred source of placement referrals.
- Represent True Legacy Homes at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of care placement advisors and consultants.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure the team is up to date with best practices and industry standards.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Oversee the thorough assessment of individuals' care needs and preferences conducted by the care placement team.
- Ensure the team provides accurate guidance and information to families seeking care placement services.
- Address escalated client and family concerns and provide solutions.
- Ensure the care placement team maintains a comprehensive understanding of local care facilities and their services.
- Oversee the coordination of tours and visits to care facilities for clients.
- Ensure accurate records and documentation of client interactions and placements are maintained.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Ensure team adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Sales, or Business Administration).
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Highly proficient in software: Salesforce, MS Outlook, Excel.
- Knowledge of healthcare and eldercare landscape.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate with and relate to a diverse staff, business professionals, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture.
- Flexibility to adapt changing priorities and handle a variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in handling sensitive information.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Class C).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting, occasional walking or standing.
- May on occasion require driving within assigned territories.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 15lbs.
- Bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and repetitive motion may be required.
- Visual and hearing requirements for computer use and equipment operation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
