full-time CIP Coordinator for our Public Works and Engineering Department.
Our
CIP Coordinator earns a competitive hourly wage of
$25.01 - $27.07, based on qualifications. Additionally, the city pays all premiums for our employees' dental, long-term disability protection, and life insurance, plus the majority portion of the medical premium for employees and their dependents. Duties And Responsibilities
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this job. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the job as necessary.
Essential Functions
- Enters data into the computer system to produce accurate contract documents. Oversees transmittals and receipt of documents and reviews for completeness and accuracy
- Prepares milestone progress reports for Administration, public and outside agencies
- Assist in preparation of the Departmental budget using Excel and MSWord.
- Prepares project budget reports contained in progress reports and agenda requests
- Manages scheduling, production and approval tracking of Agenda Requests
- Tracks and schedules progress reports and upcoming agenda items and prepares direct communications to public and Administration
- Provides oversight and control of special contracts and payment applications. Tracking status and interacting with third parties for corrections and revisions
- Prepares, transmits and tracks and interfaces with contracting entities on contract documents for signature and monitors for completion
- Interacts with outside funding agencies to track, correct and revise for receipt of funding reimbursements and reviews/ comments on contracts or funding agreements.
- Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
- Requires Bachelor's degree in business/finance related field; three (3) years related experience. Combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years municipal governmental budgeting and/or accounting experience.
