Position Overview: The Director of Program Management is an expert with a strong grasp of the PMP toolkit, adept at managing both strategic and tactical aspects of complex initiatives.
Day to Day:
- Lead and coordinate multiple complex and strategic programs, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Manage a portfolio of critical projects, both short and long-term, regardless of prior experience.
- Collaborate closely with teams, taking on tasks beyond traditional project management to unblock progress.
- Drive continuous clarity and alignment as program strategies evolve.
- Influence and align cross-functional teams towards coherent solutions.
- Facilitate key business processes, including meetings and planning sessions, ensuring alignment and decision-making.
- Communicate effectively at all levels, from detailed execution to executive summaries.
- Continuously improve processes, drive efficiencies, and standardize work where possible.
Key Qualifications:
- 6+ years in program/project management.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple complex programs with end-to-end delivery.
- Ability to understand complex systems, workflows, and the underlying reasons for actions.
- Strong business judgment, quick decision-making, and influencing skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly for executive audiences.
- High curiosity and willingness to take on new challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, PRINCE2, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile certification.
- Experience working with C-suite executives and global teams.
