Job Title: Spare Parts Sales Representative for Forklift Manufacturer
Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in our organization, responsible for driving the sales of spare parts for forklifts to our network of dealerships. This dynamic position involves close collaboration with dealerships to comprehend their specific needs, offer expert technical advice, and recommend optimal spare parts solutions. Building and nurturing enduring relationships with dealerships is at the core of this role, and it requires a willingness to travel extensively, accounting for more than 50% of the working time.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and fortify existing dealership relationships through regular on-site visits.
Offer insightful guidance to assigned dealerships, actively promoting and facilitating the sale of spare parts for forklifts, which includes providing invaluable technical insights for parts selection.
Maintain a profound knowledge of our product line, encompassing product features, benefits, and the technical nuances required to address customer queries.
Deliver quotations to customers and efficiently process spare parts orders.
Collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, service, and repair teams, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to support dealership requests and showcase our offerings.
Maintain meticulous and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and order processing.
Provide regular management reports by conducting in-depth analyses of sales activities, customer feedback, market trends, and strategic pricing.
Oversee assigned accounts, steering dealerships towards meeting their annual sales targets.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience in a sales role, preferably in the spare parts sector of the material handling industry.
Profound knowledge of forklifts and related equipment, with a solid understanding of the spare parts market, is highly desirable.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to forge robust customer relationships.
Inherent self-motivation and a relentless drive to achieve and surpass sales targets.
Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Impeccable organizational skills and unwavering attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned sales territory.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business or a related field is preferred.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
