Scope:
As a member of the service team at F&D Prime, you will guide our guests through their culinary adventure. You will learn how to anticipate each guest’s needs and be able to answer all their questions about the menu, the cocktails, and the wine. You will address the guest by their surnames so they will feel welcome and respond to their expression of “thank you” with “My Pleasure” instead of your welcome. You will be representing F&D Prime and our philosophy of hospitality for the duration of the guest experience. When guests think of F&D Prime it will not only be the food that stands out, but the service as well.

Qualifications:
- At least 5 years’ experience at a fine dining or steak house concept.
- A basic understanding of Whiskey and beers with a more in depth understanding of wine.
- Be able to multitask on the floor while dealing with multiple tables.
- Be able to spend long periods of time on your feet with no breaks.
- Be able to communicate with guests in a clear precise manner and address them by their surname when known.

Job Responsibilities:
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of our corporate culture and service philosophy.
- Thorough knowledge of all menu items including ingredients and where they were sourced), weights, plate presentations and pricing and able to pass a five-question test at start of each shift focusing on same.
- Thorough knowledge of all specialty drinks, beers, and wines available on our wine list.
- General understanding of wine varietals and wine and food pairings to suggest to our guests and able to pass a five-question test at start of each shift focusing on same.
- Follow all established uniform and grooming standards with the understanding that 100% adherence to these standards is the only way to work the floor.
- Clock in and out at the appropriate scheduled times with no more than 10 thresholds on either side of the scheduled time.
- Work with other servers in teams of two to deliver superior service to all our guests.
- Work worth the entire service staff as a team to deliver food, clear tables, pour water and clear and reset tables.
- Manage your own bank, make change for guests, and settle their credit card charges through TOAST.
- Adhere to the posted opening and closing side work duties and check lists for daily weekly and monthly cleaning.
