General Description
The Proposal Manager coordinates and produces responses to RFI, IFB, RFP, etc., while assembling a proposal team with the necessary service/product/business knowledge to create a compelling proposal. Responsibilities include introducing and implementing all required proposal procedures and processes. This role requires strong networking skills, the ability to work under pressure, and adherence to challenging timelines.
Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of marketing principles and procedures and a thorough understanding of proposals; ability to communicate at a senior level.
- Strong time management, organizational, coordination, and meticulous skills.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Keen eye for detail, promoting the company brand and enhancing Team Versa's reputation.
- Working knowledge and experience in preparing budgets, schedules, and cost estimates.
- Strong researching skills, with the ability to transform findings into clear, persuasive proposal text.
- Extensive experience managing large document production using MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related web resources.
Experience/Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience; certification preferred (APMP Foundation/Practitioner level).
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in proposal technical writing, preferably in marketing professional services or other B2B activities.
Skills
- Working knowledge of government and military contracts, RFI, RFP, SBIR, GSA, and FAR; familiarity with Shipley proposal processes.
- Background in writing, managing, and coordinating proposals, requests for information, and technical and non-technical data calls for Federal Government customers.
- Familiarity with Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and Joint Ventures.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, writing, proofing, formatting, and editing skills related to Federal Task Orders, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Sources Sought.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Proficiency in desktop publishing, graphics software, Salesforce, AI and CRM software.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
