Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the optimization and research and development of the branch’s beverage menu
- Train and mentor bar staff
- Control beverage costs, including inventory management and setting standards.
- Managing a bar requires supporting manpower during busy times.
- Ensure bar area is maintained to cleanliness and presentation standards
- Handle and resolve customer complaints promptly, professionally and diplomatically
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience in upscale bar management.
-Six to eight years of upscale bar management experience, at least three of which have been in a management role.
-Proficient in cash handling and reconciliation, including managing cash bank and POS systems.
-Ability to recruit, develop, train and provide guidance to hourly employees.
-Experience planning, marketing and executing special events and promotions.
-Excellent at monitoring and tracking budgets and expenses.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Comprehensive knowledge of customer service techniques and current industry standards.
-Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
- Proficient in basic office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and reservation systems.
-Committed to upholding the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical conduct.
-Professional appearance and demeanor are essential.
