Pod Times Square is looking for an experienced Evening/Overnight Assistant Front Office Manager.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Addressing all daily guest concerns in the hotel; overseeing the Front Desk, assisting with checking in/out all guests; ensuring staff follows hotel credit procedures; train and manage all staff.
- Effectively handle all Guest concerns/complaints with follow-up and resolution in a professional and timely manner.
- Consistent development, monitoring, and follow-up of SOPs.
- Monitor room inventory, balance as required.
- Carry out all-night audit functions.
- Be fully versed with statutory, fire, legal, health, and safety procedures and take control in the event of an emergency.
- Carry out both check-in and check-out procedures, cash handling, etc.
- Maintain communication with the team through up-to-date and accurate information.
Job Requirements
- Applicable Hotel Front Office supervisory/management experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Front Office operations, policies, and procedures.
- Operational knowledge of hotel PMS systems (StayNTouch preferred), Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Passionate about people and hospitality.
- Proven ability to effectively lead, motivate, and develop a team.
- Highly motivated, organized, goal and results-oriented individual who thrives under pressure.
- Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional in presentation and demeanor.
- Fire and Life Safety Director certification is a plus.
Hours
3 PM-Midnight shift; Some overnights
