Irrigation Territory Rep
Reporting to the Irrigation Manager, the Irrigation Territory Rep is responsible for managing customer accounts within their assigned territories. This position is responsible for maximizing customer and company profitability, providing solutions to meet customer’s requirements, performing all business tasks safely and efficiently, and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree or experience in sales, business, marketing, agricultural production or crop production would be beneficial, or 3-5 years outside sales experience.
- Interested in agricultural production, practices and product features, benefits and use
- Social and team building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish relationships with location personnel, peers and customers.
- Detail and accuracy coordination with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing to travel regionally (NC/VA). Ability to expand sale production to multiple territories is essential.
- Strong skills in math, communication, and analytical problem solving.
Key Tasks:
- Sell company products and services by managing existing customers and developing new customer relationships
- Maintain sales programs within assigned territory
- Responsible for meeting annual sales goals
- Monitor competitive activity and trends
- Responsible to continue education on marketing techniques, products and services
- Research and respond to technical inquiries
- Build product and market knowledge to add understanding and credibility with customers.
- Maintain and build customer service through primary contact and problem solving skills
