Job Overview:

We seek a team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will serve guests, presenting various menu options and advising on each customer's best food and drink choices. Our servers are passionate about food and hospitality and prioritize each guest, ensuring the pleasant dining experience our restaurant is known for.

Responsibilities:

A passion for food and service
Superior communication skills (both written and spoken)
A focus on hospitality and guest rapport alongside the development of a regular clientele
Practice safe food handling procedures
Knowledge of tableside etiquette
Rigorous attention to detail
Practice safe food handling procedures and have an awareness of food allergens
Have long-term goals in the service industry
A strong sense of urgency
Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including maintaining knowledge of the POS system
Will serve food to tables
Frequently clear plates off tables/ maintain the cleanliness of tables at all times
Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the dining experience
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards
Process payments using cash registers or handheld devices
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly

Experience:

Previous experience in customer service or the food industry is preferred
Knowledge of basic math for order accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Familiarity with guest services and cash handling procedures
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Additional requirements: Able to walk or stand for long periods. Able to lift up to 35 lbs. (Food deliveries for the restaurant)
