About the Role:

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Team Focus Insurance Group will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our SaaS-based policy management services. Reporting directly to the president, the CTO will spearhead the strategic planning and development of cutting-edge technologies while also overseeing our talented product and engineering teams.

We are seeking a dynamic leader with a robust background in enterprise application development and a keen curiosity about emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to scanning the market and competitive landscape, ensuring our technology not only meets but exceeds industry standards. Experience in delivering high-impact products and a deep interest in market trends and technological advancements are crucial for this role. This position demands a visionary who is eager to drive innovation and lead our technology team towards achieving exemplary success.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading the technology department, providing strategic guidance, vision, and oversight for all technology-related initiatives.
Collaborating closely with executive stakeholders to define the product roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and priorities.
Driving innovation and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance our products, services, and operations.
Guide and develop a high-performing team through leadership, coaching, and mentoring, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure the development and implementation of robust technology strategies, standards, and best practices.
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions and infrastructure to meet business needs.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to guide decision-making and foster innovation.

Qualifications:

Over 10 years of progressive software engineering or product experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership, managing mission-critical projects.
Knowledge of the Insurance Industry & Products.
Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional technology teams.
Track record in leading Enterprise application development and delivering best in class products.
Deep understanding of software development methodologies, best practices, and strategic problem-solving.
Have a strong passion for learning about new Technologies and innovation. As emerging technologies such as AI become more mainstream, help your teams identify opportunities to learn and use them for delivering everyday value.
