(LIZA (MINELLI)/CARLOZ) 55 to 75 years old, Hispanic man. New to the group, but he knows the other performers. He is insecure, he carries an emotional support Halston doll.
(BETTE (MIDLER)/NORMAN) 55 to 75 years old, White man. Jewish, a bit brassy, and a bit sassy.
(CHER/MARTY) 55 to 75 years old, White man. Thin and has a bit of a dry wit. He’s not bitter; he’s seen it all and just doesn’t have time for it.
(DIANA (ROSS)/LEONARD) 55 to 75 years old, Black man. Leonard is pretty happy-go-lucky. He’s enthusiastic and always sees the positive, until pushed a little too far.
(BARBRA (STREISAND)/SHELDON) 55 to 75 years old, White man. Jewish. Sees himself as a notch above the other divas. His age has made him a little confused and at times the line between himself and the real Barbra is blurred. Uses a walker.

Casting Note: It’s important to remember that these Actors are not doing drag characters so much as portraying older, down on their luck men in group therapy who are five Las Vegas drag performers.

The Divas are five Las Vegas drag performers between the ages of 60 and 70 who have been in the business a long time. They are a bit grizzled. In their younger, glory days, they were opening acts for big names at big hotels and sometimes even headliners...but those days are over.

Ability to do drag is a plus but not a must.
