Speaks Law Firm isseeking a creative, driven individual to lead our social media, video and podcast production, marketing coordination, and public relations efforts. The Multimedia Marketing Specialist will be responsible for producing high-quality video and audio content for podcasts, managing social media, and coordinating marketing initiatives. This role combines technical expertise with creative storytelling and project management to enhance the firm’s media presence. This position is in Wilmington, NC and has flexibility to be hybrid/remote as well as full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Podcast & Media Production
- Technical Proficiency:Operate video and audio recording equipment, and edit content using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audacity, etc. Distribute the content across platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts
- Content Planning:Develop show concepts, outline episode content, and manage schedules for recording and release dates
- Editing Skills:Perform video and audio editing, including sound mixing, visual enhancements, and captioning, ensuring a polished final product
- Project Management:Coordinate production schedules and manage communication with hosts and guests to ensure seamless execution

Social Media & Marketing
- Social Media Management:Create, post, and manage content across social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn), and engage with followers
- Marketing & Promotion:Develop strategies to promote the podcast and other media content through SEO, social media campaigns, and innovative marketing techniques to grow the audience
- Audience Engagement:Track and analyze audience feedback and performance metrics to continuously improve content and increase reach

Public Relations & Creative Strategy
- Draft press releases, manage media relations, and coordinate interviews for media opportunities
- Creativity:Brainstorm and implement fresh content ideas and visual elements to keep podcasts, videos, and other media engaging and relevant
- Problem-Solving:Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt quickly to production challenges

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years of experience in podcast production, media coordination, social media management, or public relations
Proficiency with video/audio editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audacity)
Strong understanding of podcast distribution platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts)
Exceptional project management and communication skills
Experience with SEO, social media promotion, and audience engagement strategies
Creative mindset and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently during production
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills

Compensation:

Pay range is $22- $25hourly depending on experience
