Front Desk Supervisor

Location: Holiday Inn Express Maspeth, Queens, NY

Job Summary:

As the Front Desk Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the front desk and ensure exceptional guest service. You will lead a team of front desk agents, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Supervise the daily operations of the front desk, including check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest inquiries.
Train, mentor, and coach front desk agents to deliver excellent customer service and uphold hotel policies.
Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest concerns and requests.
Maintain accurate records and reports, including occupancy rates and daily revenue.
Handle cash transactions and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating front desk staff to ensure adequate coverage.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Resolve escalated issues and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits of front desk operations to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a supervisory role at a hotel front desk preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership abilities and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) and booking systems.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality a plus.
